Our history is a story of endurance through market cycles, design trends, and business evolution. eQ Homes is a wholly owned affiliate company of Regional Group, an Ottawa company that began as Regional Realty in 1958.
Regional founder, Len Potechin, recognized the potential for growth and community development achievable through real estate investment and management. The firm was also an early adopter of technology, putting Canada’s first mainframe computer to work in 1977.
eQ Homes was started in 2009, launching the landmark communities of eQuinelle and Greystone Village.
Today, Regional Group has a $5+ billion pipeline of commercial, mixed-use and residential projects in development, as well as a management portfolio of more than 2.9 million square feet of commercial space and 2,000 residential units.
eQ Homes has grown into one of the Ottawa area’s premier homebuilding companies, winning awards at the national level and accolades from buyers in every community we create.
